Almost Four!

Our firstborn sweetheart had his four-year-old birthday party today. He officially turns 4 next Thursday, but we celebrated with friends a bit early. We had a great time. Lately Wunk 1's favorite activity in life is coloring. He has become a total pro at it because he does it many times a day. So, with that being his love at the moment, I decided to have an arty party! I set up stations around the house for the kiddos to have their pick of various artsy activities. In the library, they could color pictures. In the kitchen, they could create watercolor pictures. Outside, we had a Play Doh table set up and sidewalk chalk aplenty. Then we also had a beanbag toss game that was a huge hit. It was fun to watch everyone have a good time. After playing and visiting, we ate birthday cake--the crayon cake and plain chocolate cake--and then opened gifts. It was a blessed evening! Thank you, Lord Jesus!
